Moving
Each player starts off with two bishops, which move diagonally any number of squares they wish. Note that a bishop that starts on a white square will never be able to touch black squares and a bishop that starts on black squares will never be able to touch white squares.
Capturing
Bishops capture just as they move, as the picture above illustrates.
